Admission is made after giving suitable test for admission from class VI to 9th as Day Scholar against the existing vacancies upto 31st March. The last date of receipt of applications for registration happens to be 31st March. Admission of students in the different categories
is given as under in various classes.

Admission is given on transfer basis from one BSF School to another BSF school. Admission is also given to those who are coming from schools other than BSF Schools after conducting suitability test for the subjects English, Maths and Science.

Priority shall be given to BSF wards. Admission of Non-BSF students shall be made if the vacancy exists.

No admission in class X and XII will
be made. However, transfer cases from one BSF School to another BSF school shall be considered.

Admission for class XI for BSF & Non BSF wards are given as per the
criteria fixed by FHQ New Delhi. However, facilities of studies are provided in three streams i.e. Science, Commerce & Humanities

A boy is admitted in the hostel in class VI provided he has passed 5th class examination from a recognized school and is between 10 to 12 years of age on 31st March
on the year of admission. All parents are expected to provide proper summer and winter uniform to their wards well in time. Girls hostel is available at BSF School Jalandhar only. |
