Very often a question that appears in our minds is 'How' does one prepare for the ever widening challenges that the world has to encounter now and in the future? The answer lies in focused and effective training. And that is our mission here in BSF Sr Sec School, Jammu. Our focus has remained on providing quality
education to our students, in academics, personality and character development occupying equal attention.
The way a sculptor gives shape to an art piece, with deft chiseling of the stone, drawing carefully every sinew, we give the desired shape (Physical, intellectual, moral and emotional) to our students. As they pass out of the school, after years of good training, we look at them proudly, the way the artist looks at the final artifact.
Academic excellence is a sub-set of education. Information, knowledge, skills and attitudes and values all together constitute holistic education. Our school provides a high quality programme,
in addition to opportunities of holistic development. Students are
instilled with Indian culture and values thereby preparing them to pursue higher studies in top institutes
of India and abroad.

the core of everything, co curricular and extra curricular program of activities for students
are also given due importance to provide holistic education by
giving them a competitive edge over their counter parts from other schools.
